Book Theme Party Decorations

I’ve sent out the cute book theme party invitations, and now it’s time to show off the decorations!

There are cute banner ideas everywhere, especially on Pinterest. I ripped a few more pages out of St. Maybe and used my Silhouette to cut letters out of black cardstock for my party banner.

The rest of my decorations were inspired by the Nester and her post 20 Ways to Decorate with Book Pages. I’m not quite as ambitious, so I only used about 4 of her ideas.

First, I made a couple book page bouquets. Then I filled a couple of jars with scraps from my other projects.
I filled a basket with rolled book pages.
Finally, I wrapped one of the gifts in book pages. (Shh – It’s a book!) I pulled out one of my old scrapbooking techniques and made a rolled paper flower out of a book page to make it even cuter!

After my creative juices started flowing, I came up with a couple of ideas on my own. I accordion folded several pages, taped them together and used them instead of tissue in a gift bag.

One of my daughters and I tag teamed this cute party favor. We stapled two pages together to make a pocket – I love how the one side is rolled down so the notebook and pen shows!

It looks nice all put together too!
