Queen of Attolia Book Review

As I said in my book review, I enjoyed The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner so much, I checked out the next to books in the series the next time I was at the library. The second book in the series, The Queen of Attolia was my favorite of the ones I’ve read so far.

When his small mountains country goes to war with the powerful nation of Attolia, Eugenides the thief is faced with his greatest challenge. He must steal a man, he must steal a queen, and he must steal peace.

But his greatest triumph-as well as his greatest loss-can only come if he succeeds in capturing something the Queen of Attolia may have sacrificed long ago. – Amazon

Even after having a taste of Gen’s (Eugenides) clever and eccentric personality, I was still surprised by the twists and turns as he overcame challenges while serving his country and his heart. I loved the suspense, action and especially the romance. (Don’t worry is was all kid friendly!) I finished this book in about four days, (which is really fast for me) and hurried on to the next book in the series, The King of Attolia.

I give Queen of Attolia five delicious slices!
