Candy Corn Bunting

Last year my daughter cut out fabric candy corn pieces for me so I could make a pennant similar to her’s.  I sewed the pieces, but that’s as far as I made it.  During my recent sewing endeavors, I stumbled on them again.

I decided it would be a great sewing project for my youngest daughter.  I love the picked out the ribbon from my stash.  She pinned them in place, then I started her on the sewing, and she carefully stitched along.  About halfway through, her brother walked in and wanted to try – I mean sewing machines have motors right?  He whipped through the remaining portion in just a few minutes.

I love the results of our group project.
