Stuffed Animal of the Month

After making a “Can Do Sunday List” last month, the kids spent most of a Sunday starting a family newsletter.  Each of the kiddos included a couple of articles, even I added one to fill in a very informational and entertaining four page newsletter.  Articles included a book review, a few current family events, interesting websites, jokes and a stuffed animal review.  This is where my daughter shares the 411 on one of her many stuffed animals taking over her room.  They also included upcoming birthdays and an invitation for submissions from the the extended family.

Not only was if an enjoyable and appropriate Sunday activity, it strengthen family bonds. They loved hearing feedback from their grandparents, Aunts and Uncles. Family newsletters aren’t just for Christmas anymore!
