Yesterday I read Celebrations at Home post of recipe ideas for National S’mores Day. Not only is today National S’mores Day, I also have a Cub Scout Committee Meeting. Since I like to make my Cub Scout leaders a special treat, I tried a recipe for S’mores Cookies from Jennifer’s Road Trip.
Yum! I could tell by tasting the cookie dough that I was going to like this cookie! Adding roasted marshmallows was even better. (I was a little lazy and didn’t chill the dough.) I must have gone a little crazy on the chocolate because I used closer to five regular size Hershey bars.
These are so good, a bird was cling onto my window screen to get drool over them! I hope you get to enjoy a S’more to celebrate this very meaningful holiday.

Very good page, We are viewing back again on a regular basis to look around for upgrades.
Thanks for visiting! I look forward to your return.

Thank you for linking. I’m glad to hear they turned out so delicious! : )
I’m surprised any cookies survived through the night! Thanks for the heads up on the whole National S’mores Day.
gee, I knew from my math teacher colleagues that there’s an international PI day on March 14– that’s 3.14! (we celebrate with Pie)! I didn’t know there was a national s’mores day. Any reason to eat s’mores is a good day. Looks yum!
I love those holidays that give us an excuse to add something fun to our day.
