I have mentioned before that we hold Family Home Evening on Sunday nights.  We’re not trying to be rebellious, it just helps our family to have FHE consistently.  The only downside is family gatherings also tend to happen on Sundays.  Ideally we would still have FHE, but life’s not always ideal. On those Sundays, we focus on enjoying our family as an informal FHE.

I have discovered that building family bonds comes before a formal FHE.  This week we celebrate our extended family members old and new.  We didn’t throw away all our Sunday traditions – we still had brownies!
